Banyan Botanicals, a wonderful Ayurvedic herb & oils retailer rooted in sustainability & fair trade, is hosting a "Summer of Ayurveda" series on Instagram, and I'll be contributing the posts for the Week of Movement starting next week. I'll be sharing some of the important ideas and practices behind movement from an ayurvedic perspective, some that will be familiar to my regular yoga students and some that will be new!
This past week, Claire Ragozzino has been sharing food-based inspiration, which of course means kitchari and more! In week 3, Adena Rose will share about self-care & routine (so important!). And in week 4, Nadya Andreeva will share about reflection, meditation, and intention. I've been in touch with each of these ladies prior to this virtual gathering by Banyan, and it's sweet we get to share ayurveda altogether from all different places.
I'd love for you to follow along and share your thoughts via comments as we go. The posts will go up at @banyanbotanicals on instagram, and I'll be posting a few complimentary posts on my account @yogini_kate too. If you want to share your photo experience, please do using the hashtag: #summerofayurveda. =)
Cheers to a Summer of Ayurveda!
